I’m losing my job after March 22. I don’t really want to talk about it or get advice. The entire Lab Aide department is getting defunded. The Lab Aide who took on shift scheduling in order to give me the worst possible hours was consistently very late for shifts and would be away from the desk for long periods of time. That was a very fast way to get defunded. I don’t know the long term outcome. I’m updating my documents and have rock solid professional references.
I’m not verbal at the moment. The idea of a phone call with anyone right now sounds terrible. I’m sorry if this is a weird way to communicate. This is an unlisted post. I started trying out Wudu, or Ablution in English. Jewish people have traditionally done Ablution. The closest representation in modern American Judaism is Netilat Yadayim done with the bowl and pitcher on some Jewish holidays. Ablution is a self-purification ritual, sometimes at a sink, sometimes more like bathing. Here’s a weird animation walking through it. Idea is to wash hands, mouth, nose, face, arms, temple, ears, and feet with clean water. It’s generally done before praying. You can set a wish or intention before starting. Try it, you might like it.
Last week I ran into my old trainer and boss at the credit union. He was over the top to see me. When I worked for him I was living out of the envoy. Gene went to prison when he was much younger, reverted to Islam, cleaned up his life, and has dedicated his life to outstanding community service, which includes training at the program that turned me from feral to employable in the culinary fields. When I worked for him, every day all of us had to assembly line around 300 lunch meals for the after school program at two local middle schools. The only employers I’ve ever had that I genuinely like as people, treated me well on the job, and was glad to work for have been Muslim. They have rock solid business skills built into their faith, and we have Reaganomics, which has been effectively destroying everything nice in America since before I was born. Gave him a bag of apple chips, and am planning to follow up.

Please don’t use me, my sexual or gender orientation in general to justify what is happening in Palestine by Israel’s hand. Not in my name. I’m upset about that. Right now there is an actual neo-nazi GOP candidate running for office in Massachusetts(Kauffman). She hates Jews, Muslim people, and especially LGBT people. There is someone just as terrible running for Governor in North Carolina(Robinson). He is a Holocaust denier. Both of them have won in the primary elections. There are many more like them running. Those two are people who will make this country much less safe for you and me, but especially me at first. The timeline of that killing of the teenager in Oklahoma is really disturbing. These are republican candidates and officials enabling this, not Muslims. That’s the evangelical lobby literally scheming and conspiring on how to get rid of Jewish people, Muslims, and Gay people. That’s your political party. That’s your first marriage. Palestinians have nothing to do with that.
