MOSAIC is designed to help individuals objectively evaluate threats, particularly in cases of dangerous relationships, stalking, or workplace concerns. The assessment, comprised of 46 questions, provides a score on a scale of 1 to 10, indicating the potential level of danger, including the risk of homicide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone\u2014the victim or concerned loved ones\u2014can log onto the website and answer 46 questions to determine how much of a threat an abuser poses to an individual or family. \u201cMOSAIC expresses its results on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most likely to escalate\u2014including homicide,\u201d Gavin says. The technology is based on similar programs used to protect congressmen and Supreme Court justices. \u201cIt takes the factors of a situation and breaks them down and then sees all these pieces of the puzzle and puts it back together in a way that, in a domestic violence situation, a woman can see the picture for the first time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
